Release Information
Statement introduced in Release 10.0 of Junos OS.
Description
Disable or enable use of the caller ID transmit feature for SIP templates and analog templates. Stations that the template is applied to inherit the state.
Use caller ID transmit as a toggle in the following way:
- By default, caller ID transmit is enabled. You do not need to specify it in a template if you want it enabled.
- You can disable the feature, by specifying caller-id-transmit disable in a template. To enable it after it has been disabled, specify caller-id-transmit in the template.
- For station configurations without SIP templates, caller ID transmit is enabled.
Normally the user’s caller ID information is sent between the first and second telephone rings.
