Release Information
Statement introduced in Release 10.0 of Junos OS.
Description
Configure caller ID information for the station, for example, the telephone number for the station and the user’s name.
The caller ID station configuration works with the station’s SIP or analog template caller ID transmit parameter in the following way:
- When caller ID transmit is disabled, user information configured for the station is blocked and not routed to destination (called) parties.
- When the caller ID is enabled for the station and caller ID transmit is configured for the station’s template, caller ID information for the station is routed to destination parties.
- When the caller ID is enabled for the station but no information is configured and caller ID transmit is configured for the station’s template, the station’s telephone number is routed to destination parties.
Options
caller-id-information—Information to be transmitted to destination parties.
