Description
If required, specify the authentication password to be used by the media gateway to authenticate to the peer call server.
- The authentication information for the media gateway is configured at the peer call server.
- The authentication password (and ID) credentials that you configure must match those configured at the peer call server.
- An authentication password is required only if the peer call server challenges the media gateway to authenticate when it registers with it. The password that you configure is secret; It is not displayed.
Administrators at the media gateway site and the peer call server site must communicate to coordinate this information.
Options
authentication-password—The authentication password to be used by the media gateway to authenticate itself to the peer call server.
