Statement introduced in Release 10.0 of Junos OS.

If required, specify the authentication ID to be used by the media gateway to authenticate to the peer call server.

The authentication information for the media gateway is configured at the peer call server. The authentication ID and password credentials that you configure must match it.
An authentication ID is required only if the peer call server challenges the media gateway to authenticate when the media gateway registers to it.

Administrators at the media gateway site and the peer call server site must communicate to coordinate this information.
