Outstanding Issues

If an M40 router is equipped with both an enhanced System Control Board (SCB) and an older Routing Engine, the routing table might not be able to hold as many routes as expected. To fix this issue, upgrade the Routing Engine to a newer version.

To determine the Routing Engine version, issue the show chassis routing-engine command. For older Routing Engines, the value in the model field is RE1. For newer Routing Engines, the value is RE2 or RE3.
