Connect the Router to Management and Alarm Devices
After you have installed the router into the rack, connect the Routing Engine to one or more external devices for management and service operations. Figure 47 shows the location of the Routing Engine interface ports and alarm relay contacts on the craft interface. For specifications for the cable and wire that inserts into the ports, see Routing Engine Interface Cable and Wire Specifications.
