After you have removed components as described in Removing Components from the Chassis, the chassis is light enough for a team of installers to lift into the rack.

The reduced weight of the chassis is approximately 115 lb (52 kg). Installing it into the rack still requires three people to lift and an additional person to secure the mounting screws. If you are installing multiple routers in a rack, install the lowest one first and proceed upward. |
Perform the following procedures (see Figure 44):

To prevent injury, keep your back straight and lift with your legs, not your back. Avoid twisting your body as you lift. Balance the load evenly and be sure that your footing is solid. |
