Verifying the State of the Links in the Routing Matrix

Purpose

After the T1600 router has booted, verify the state of the links in the routing matrix.

Action

  1. Verify the state of the optical switch fabric links by issuing the show chassis fabric plane extensive command.

    Verify that the state of each optical link is Links ok.

  3. If the state of all links is correct, the connections between the TXP-F13 SIBs and the TXP-T1600 SIBs are operating correctly.
  4. If the state of any optical link is not Links ok, or the state of any electrical link is not OK, see Troubleshooting the Switching Planes in the Routing Matrix, or contact your customer support representative for additional instructions.
