• EX4500-40F-BF

Meaning

• The FB and BF in the model number indicate the direction of airflow of the chassis:
  • FB—Front-to-back airflow
  • BF—Back-to-front airflow
• The C in the model number indicates the Converged Enhanced Ethernet (CEE) status of switch:
  • C—CEE capable
  • None—Not CEE capable
