Troubleshooting the T1600 Craft Interface
Problem
The following alarms, LEDs, and other conditions indicate a problem with the craft interface:
- None of the LEDs on the craft interface are lit.
- A yellow alarm indicates that the craft interface has failed.
Solution
To troubleshoot the T1600 craft interface:
- Check the LEDs on the craft interface.
- Use the CLI to check for alarms.
- Standalone T1600 router—Issue the show chassis alarms command to view the alarms.
- T1600 router in a routing matrix—Issue the show chassis alarms lcc lcc-number command to view the alarms.
In Table 1, the text in the column labeled ”LCD Message” appears in the display of the craft interface. The text in the column labeled “CLI Message” appears in the output from the show chassis alarms command.
