Replacing the Management Ethernet Cable on the M120 Routing Engine
For cable specifications, see Routing Engine Interface Cable and Wire Specifications for the M120 Router. To replace the management Ethernet Cable:
- Press the tab on the connector and pull the connector straight out of the ETHERNET port. Figure 1 shows the connector.
- Disconnect the cable from the network device.
- Plug one end of the replacement cable into the appropriate ETHERNET port. Figure 2 shows the external device ports on the craft interface. The ports labeled 0 connect to the Routing Engine in the left Routing Engine slotĀ (RE0), and the ports labeled 1 connect to the Routing Engine in the right Routing Engine slotĀ (RE1).
- Plug the other end of the cable into the network device.
