JCS1200 Installation Summary

To install the JCS1200 platform:

1. Prepare your installation site.

   See Site Preparation Checklist for the JCS1200 Platform.

2. Review the safety guidelines and warnings.

3. Unpack the router and verify the parts.

4. Install the mounting hardware.

5. Lift the router onto the rack.

6. Connect cables to the network and external devices:

7. Connect the AC power cord or DC power cables.

8. Power on the Routing Engines.

9. Perform the initial system configuration.
