Installing the Rear Cable Management System Shelves
To install the shelves (see Figure 2):
- Identify the top, middle, and bottom shelf. They
can be differentiated visually, or by the position of the keying pin.
- Visual: The three shelves differ in the appearance of the pivoting arms protruding from the sides of the shelves.
Key pin position:
- A: Upper shelf key pin position
- B: Middle shelf key pin position
- C: Lower shelf key pin position
- Familiarize yourself with the pivoting bracket mechanism. Each cable management shelf has two or four pivoting brackets which hold the cable management arms. Each bracket has a release tab. Pressing this tab will allow the bracket to be pivoted and lock into an alternative position. The two locking positions are termed: normal position, and service Position.
- Orient the shelf so that the keying pin location
is toward the right side of the shelf. Align the long guide pins with
the holes in the chassis, and slide the shelf into place. Fully tighten
the captive screws on the left and right sides of each shelf

Note: It is easiest to tighten these screws if the pivoting arm brackets are in the service position.
- Repeat for the remaining shelves.
