SONET/SDH OC192/STM64 Transceiver Optical Interface Specifications

The following SONET/SDH OC192/STM64 transceivers are supported on M Series, MX Series, and T Series routers. To determine which transceivers are supported on a particular device, see the “Cables and connectors” section for each device.

  • Table 1 shows the optical interface specifications for SONET/SDH OC192/STM64 transceivers with a short reach (SR-1) interface.
  • Table 2 shows the optical interface specifications for SONET/SDH OC192/STM64 transceivers with an intermediate reach (IR-2) interface.
  • Table 3 shows the optical interface specifications for SONET/SDH OC192/STM64 transceivers with a long reach (LR-2) interface.
