For each three-input 240-A power supply, we recommend that you provision at least 67 A @ –48 VDC per input in . Although Input 0 in the three-input 240-A power supply requires less power, we recommend provisioning the same amount of power for each input to avoid the possibility of connecting the lower-powered DC cable to Input 1 or Input 2.
For each four-input 240-A power supply, we recommend that you provision at least 50 A @ –48 VDC per input . Although Input 0 and Input 1 in the four-input 240-A power supply require less power, we recommend provisioning the same amount of power for each input to avoid the possibility of connecting the lower-powered DC cables to Input 2 or Input 3.
You must provision a circuit breaker for each DC power supply input rated for at least 125% of the continuous current that the system draws at –48 VDC.
