M320 Router Installation Summary

After you have prepared your installation site as described in M320 Site Preparation Checklist Requirements, you are ready to unpack and install the router. It is important to proceed through the installation process in the following order:

1. Review the safety guidelines explained in General Safety Guidelines for M Series, MX Series, and T Series Routers.
2. Follow the instructions in this chapter to unpack the router and verify the parts received.
3. Install the mounting hardware as described in Installing the M320 Mounting Hardware for a Four-Post Rack or Cabinet.
4. Install the router as described in Installing the M320 Router Using a Mechanical Lift or Installing the M320 Chassis in the Rack Manually.
5. Perform the initial system startup as described in Initially Configuring the M320 Router.
