T1600 LED Overview
Craft Interface LED Overview
The craft interface displays system status messages and allows you to troubleshoot the T1600 router. The craft interface is located on the upper front of the router. It contains LEDs, buttons, and an LCD display showing status messages for the router.
LEDs on the craft interface include the following:
- Alarm LEDs—One large red circular LED and one large yellow triangular LED, located on the upper left of the craft interface, indicate two levels of alarm conditions. You can determine the cause of the alarm condition by looking at the LCD on the craft interface.
- Host subsystem LEDs—Three LEDs (one green MASTER, one green OK, and one red FAIL) indicate the status of each host subsystem. The host subsystem LEDs are located on the upper right of the craft interface, and are labeled HOST0 and HOST1.
- SIB LEDs—Two LEDs (one red FAIL and one green OK) indicate the status of each SIB. The SIB LEDs are located on the upper right of the craft interface, and are labeled SIB0 through SIB4.
- FPC LEDs—Two LEDs (one red FAIL and one green OK) indicate the status of each FPC. The FPC LEDs are located along the bottom edge of the craft interface, and are labeled FPC0 through FPC7.
Component LED Overview
The following LEDs are located on various router components and display the status of those components:
- SIB LEDs—Three LEDs on each SIB faceplate—ACTIVE, OK, and FAIL—indicate the status
of that SIB.

- T-CB LEDs—Three LEDs on each T-CB faceplate—ACTIVE, OK, and FAIL— indicate the status
of that T-CB. If no LEDs are lit, the T-CB is not receiving power.

- LCC-CB LEDs—Three LEDs on each LCC-CB faceplate—ACTIVE, OK, and FAIL— indicate the status
of that LCC-CB. The ACT and LINK LEDs indicate
the status of each port. The JCS LINK port and LED are not
currently supported. If no LEDs are lit, the LCC-CB is not receiving
power.

- SCG LEDs—Three LEDs on each SCG faceplate indicate
the status of that SCG. If no LEDs are lit, the SCG is not receiving
power.

- PIC LEDs—Each port on each PIC has an LED that indicates
the status of the port.

- Power supply LEDs—LEDs on each power supply faceplate
indicate the status of that power supply.
