JCS1200 Alarm Panel Module LEDs
Figure 1 shows the location of LEDs and connectors on the alarm panel module.

Table 1 describes the function of each LED on the alarm panel.

Power-on | Green | On steadily | Power is present in the JCS1200 platform. |
– | Off | The power subsystem, the power module, or the LED has failed. Caution: If the power-on LED is off, it does not mean that no electrical current is present in the JCS1200 platform. The LED might be defective. To remove all electrical current from the JCS1200 platform, you must disconnect all power cords from the rear power connectors. | |
Location | Blue | On steadily or flashing | Indicates that the LED has been turned on by the system administrator, to aid in visually locating the JCS1200 platform. After the JCS1200 platform has been located, you can have the system administrator turn off the location LED. |
Critical system fault | Yellow or red Note: The color of this LED can be set to yellow or red through the management module. | On steadily | The JCS1200 platform has a critical system fault. A critical system fault is an error or event that is detected by the system and that has a significant impact to the system. In this case, the system cannot continue to operate or is operating in a nonredundant power or cooling configuration. |
Major system fault | Yellow or red Note: The color of this LED can be set to yellow or red through the management module. | On steadily | The JCS1200 platform has a major system fault. The system can continue to operate but may lose some functionality and performance. |
Minor system fault | Yellow | On steadily | The JCS1200 platform has a minor system fault. The system can continue to operate, usually without noticeable loss of functionality or performance. |
FRU ready for removal | Blue | On steadily | It is safe to remove the alarm panel module from the JCS1200 platform. |
Alarm panel module fault | Yellow | On steadily | Indicates that there is a fault on the alarm panel module. The system can continue to operate, usually without the use of the components on the alarm panel module. |
