DOCSIS Mini-Physical Interface Module Overview
The Data over Cable System Interface Specifications Mini-Physical Interface Module (DOCSIS Mini-PIM) includes the following features:
- Provides a single cable modem interface for connecting to a cable modem termination system (CMTS) network
- Supports high-speed, bidirectional data transfer over an existing cable TV system
- Provides high-speed WAN connectivity
The DOCSIS 3.0 US model of the DOCSIS Mini-PIM is supported.
Figure 1 shows the DOCSIS Mini-PIM front panel.
