SRX650 Services Gateway Hardware
The SRX650 is a mid-range dynamic services gateway that consolidates
network infrastructure and security applications for regional offices,
large branch offices, and small to medium enterprises. The services
gateway provides cost-effective, scalable integration of routing,
security, and other mid-range applications for these sites. The SRX650
Services Gateway supports a Services and Routing Engine (SRE) module
that provides processing power for security services, routing protocol
processes, and other software processes that control the services
gateway interfaces, some of the chassis components, system management,
and user access to the device. The SRX650 Services Gateway also supports
Gigabit-Backplane Physical Interface Modules (GPIMs), which are network
interface cards (NICs) that install in the front slots of the services
gateway to provide physical connections to a LAN or a WAN. The SRX650
Services Gateway runs JUNOS Software.
