SRX5800 Services Gateway Hardware Documentation
The SRX5800 Services Gateway is a high-performance, scalable,
carrier-class security device with multi-processor architecture. The
SRX5800 Services Gateway is 16 rack units (16U) tall. You can install
up to three services gateways in a single floor-to-ceiling rack. The
SRX5800 Services Gateway card cage has 12 slots that you can populate
with Services Processing Cards (SPCs) and I/O cards (IOCs). The card
cage also has two dedicated slots for Switch Control Boards (SCB)s,
one of which must contain a Routing Engine. The services gateway is
cooled by two fan trays (one above and one below the card cage) that
draw air into the chassis through an air filter below the lower fan
tray. The rear panel of the services gateway has four slots for AC
or DC power supplies.
