SRX5600 Services Gateway Hardware Documentation
The SRX5600 Services Gateway is a high-performance, scalable,
carrier-class security device with multi-processor architecture. The
SRX5600 Services Gateway is 8 rack units (8U) tall. You can install
up to three services gateways in a single floor-to-ceiling rack. The
SRX5600 Services Gateway card cage has six slots that you can populate
with Services Processing Cards (SPCs) and I/O cards (IOCs). The card
cage also has two dedicated slots for Switch Control Boards (SCBs),
one of which must contain a Routing Engine. The services gateway is
cooled by a fan tray on the left side of the chassis that draws air
into the chassis through an air filter on the right side of the chassis.
The rear panel of the services gateway has four slots for AC or DC
power supplies.
