Command introduced in Junos OS Release 8.0.

Description

(M120 and MX Series routers only) Control the operation of the specified fabric plane.

Options

offline

Take the fabric plane offline. Use the request chassis fabric plane plane-number offline command to clear a FAULT state on a fabric plane. To bring the fabric plane back online, use the request chassis fabric plane plane-number online command.

online

Bring the fabric plane online.

plane plane-number

Fabric plane slot number. For the M120 router, replace plane-number with a value from 0 through 3. For the MX480 and MX240 routers, replace plane-number with a value from 0 through 7. For the MX960 router, replace plane-number with a value from 0 through 5.
