Maintenance and Failover in the IMSG Overview
When you provide a redundant (rms) interface for control service PICs that provide BSG and BGF functionality, the IMSG high availability (HA) architecture ensures service and call continuity, which is necessary for VoIP services. Configure the rms interface as the service interface for the BSG and its associated BGFs.
