APPPXY System Log Messages

This chapter describes messages with the APPPXY prefix. They are generated by the Application Proxy process (apppxyd) which performs all of the services of a proxy, but only for specific applications. The application proxy will only process packets that related to the applications it supports.

ApplicationProxy: Suspicious client source-address:source-port (->destination-address:destination-port) used percentage-value connections, which exceeded the maximum allowed maximum-value connections

Description

For ApplicationProxy, the amount of traffic from the specified source address exceeded the amount permitted from one source. The maximum amount of traffic from one source is a fixed percentage of the total amount of traffic
