Syntax

Release Information

For routers running Junos SDK applications, support for rms interfaces added in Junos OS Release 9.5.

Description

Clear interface statistics. When the show interfaces statistics command is next issued, the output shows the packets received since the last time the clear interfaces statistics command was issued. However, after a graceful Routing Engine switchover (GRES), the output shows cumulative statistics.

Options

Clear statistics on all interfaces.

interface-name

Clear statistics on the named interface.
