Enabling IGMP

IGMP is automatically enabled on all interfaces on which you configure PIM and all broadcast interfaces when you configure DVMRP.

Optionally, you can specify the interface or interfaces on which to enable IGMP. If you do not specify any interfaces, IGMP is enabled on all interfaces on which you configure PIM and all broadcast interfaces when you configure DVMRP. To enable IGMP explicitly, include the igmp and interface statements:

You can include the igmp statement at the following hierarchy levels:

• [edit protocols]
• [edit logical-systems logical-system-name protocols]
