Description
Frequency with which the routing device sends hello packets out of an interface, in seconds.
Options
seconds—Frequency of transmission for hello packets.
- Range: 1 through 20,000 seconds
- Default: 3 seconds (for designated intersystem [DIS] routers), 9 seconds (for non-DIS routers)
