Command introduced in Junos OS Release 7.6.

Command introduced in Junos OS Release 9.0 for EX Series switches.

Description

Display information about the backup software that is located in the /altroot and /altconfig file systems. To back up software, use the request system snapshot command.

Options

none

Display information about the backup software.

all-members

(EX4200 switches only) (Optional) Display information about the backup software for all members of the Virtual Chassis configuration.

local

(EX4200 switches only) (Optional) Display information about the backup software for the local Virtual Chassis member.

member member-id

(EX4200 switches only) (Optional) Display information about the backup software for the specified member of the Virtual Chassis configuration. Replace member-id with a value from 0 through 9.
