Providing Redirection for Messages with 3XX Responses Overview

When the BSG receives a 3XX response (redirection request), it redirects the original message using a request URI based on information provided in the contact field of the 3XX response header. You can configure the maximum number of iterations of the redirection process before sending a 408 timeout response.
