Description
Configure the routing device not to automatically reestablish BGP peering sessions after a nonstop active routing (NSR) switchover. This feature is particularly useful if you are using dynamic routing policies because the dynamic database is not synchronized with the backup Routing Engine when NSR is enabled.
Options
forever—Do not reestablish a BGP peering session after an NSR switchover until the clear bgp neighbor command is issued.
seconds—Do not reestablish a BGP peering session after an NSR switchover until after the specified period.
