Description

In a Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) configuration, determine whether or not a backup router can preempt a master router:

Default

By default preempt is enabled, and a higher-priority backup router preempts a lower-priority master router even if the preempt statement is not explicitly configured.
