Command introduced before JUNOS Release 7.4.

Command introduced in JUNOS Release 9.0 for EX Series switches.

Description

Display Intermediate System-to-Intermediate System (IS-IS) hostname database information.

Options

none

Display IS-IS hostname database information.

logical-system (all | logical-system-name)

(Optional) Perform this operation on all logical systems or on a particular logical system.

Field Name

Field Description

System Id

System identifier mapped to the hostname.

Hostname

Hostname mapped to the system identifier.

Type

Type of mapping between system identifier and hostname.

  • Dynamic—Hostname mapping determined as described in RFC 2763, Dynamic Hostname Exchange Mechanism for IS-IS.
  • Static—Hostname mapping configured by user.
