J Series Devices and SRX Series Branch Devices Support

To ensure stability, a 10.2 R1 image for the J Series devices (J2320, J2350, J4350, and J6350) and for the SRX Series branch devices (SRX100, SRX210, SRX240, and SRX650) will not be available on the public download site.

An early field trial (EFT) version based on the JUNOS Release 10.2 features will be available only through Juniper Networks sales representatives to meet specific customer needs for feature evaluation.

Our recommended stability releases for J Series and SRX Series branch devices are Releases 9.6 R3, 10.0 R3, and 10.1 R2 (all available now).

Stability releases are not feature releases, meaning that the code modifications focus primarily on fixes to features that were a part of the initial release. This does not mean that Release 10.2 R1 is too unstable to use; it simply means that the designated releases are more likely to have the issues worked out for a given set of features.
