Configuring Hierarchical CoS on a Static PPPoE Subscriber Interface
You can configure hierarchical CoS on a static PPPoE subscriber interface.
This procedure is supported for IQ2E PICs on M120 and M320 routers and for the Trio MPC/MIC family of products on MX Series routers.
Before you begin:
- Configurethe static PPPoE subscriber interface.
See Configuring PPPoE.
To configure hierarchical CoS on a static PPPoE subscriber interface:
- Specify the PPPoE interface that you want to configure.user@host# edit interfaces pppoe-interface-name
- Configure the hierarchical scheduler
for the interface.[edit interfaces interface-name]user@host# set hierarchical-scheduler
- (Optional) Group the PPPoE interfaces
in an interface set.[edit]user@host# edit interfaces interface-set interface-set-name
You can now configure static traffic and scheduling parameters for each traffic-control profile, and attach each traffic-control profile to the PPPoE interface or the PPPoE interface set. For more information, see the JUNOS Class of Service Configuration Guide.
