When you provide a redundant (rms) interface for control service PICs that provide BSG and BGF functionality, the IMSG high-availability (HA) architecture ensures service and call continuity, which is necessary for VoIP services. Configure the rms interface as the service interface for the BSG and its associated BGFs.
