Supported VPLS Standards

The JUNOS Software substantially supports the following virtual private LAN service (VPLS) standards.

• RFC 4761, Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS) Using BGP for Auto-Discovery and Signaling
• RFC 4762, Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS) Using Label Distribution Protocol (LDP) Signaling

  FEC 128, control bit 0, and Ethernet pseudowire type hexadecimal 0x0005 are supported.
