Broadband Subscriber Management PPPoE Layer 3 Wholesale Solution,
Release 10.1
Broadband Subscriber Management is a method of dynamically
provisioning and managing subscriber access in a multiplay or triple
play network environment. Wholesaling broadband services allows service
providers to resell broadband services and allows other providers
to deploy their own services over the incumbent network. Layer 3 wholesale
access is the process by which the access network provider (the wholesaler) partitions the access network into separately
manageable and accountable subscriber segments for resale to other
network providers (or retailers). Layer 3 wholesaling
partitions the wholesaler access network at the network layer or the
subscriber IP component by associating the IP component with a distinct
Layer 3 domain.
This page provides some general Broadband Subscriber Management
overview information, PPPoE Layer 3 Wholesale overview information,
and instructions for how to configure a basic PPPoE Layer 3 wholesale
