Diameter Base Protocol for Subscriber Access, Release 10.1

The Diameter base protocol is defined in RFC 3588, Diameter Base Protocol, and provides an alternative to RADIUS that is more flexible and extensible. The Diameter base protocol provides basic services to one or more applications (also called functions) that each runs in a different Diameter instance (DI). The individual application provides the extended AAA functionality. JSRC is the first application that is supported.
