EX8208 Switch Configurations

Table 1 lists the five sample hardware configurations for an EX8208 switch—base (AC), redundant (AC and DC versions), and fully loaded chassis (AC and DC versions)—and the components included in each configuration.

The switch is shipped in only three of these five configurations: base (AC), redundant (AC), and redundant (DC).

Note: You can install up to eight line cards (any combination of the three line card types) in the switch.

Note: Line cards are not part of the base or redundant configuration. You must order them separately.
