4-Port FXS Mini-Physical Interface Module Overview

The 4-Port Foreign Exchange Station (FXS) Mini-Physical Interface Module (Mini-PIM) provides an interface for connecting telephones, fax machines, and other telephony devices to the SRX Series device.

The 4-Port FXS Mini-PIM allows for connectivity expansion on the media gateway to support additional users.

Figure 1 shows the 4-Port FXS Mini-PIM.

Note: The 4-Port FXS Mini-PIM can be used only with the Integrated Convergence Services models of the SRX210 and SRX240 Services Gateways; it cannot be used in standalone mode.
