Standard SNMP Traps on EX-Series Ethernet Switches
Apart from the standard SNMP traps listed
in the preceding sections, JUNOS software also supports the following
standard traps on the EX-series Ethernet switches:
- ptopoConfigChange—Generated when the value
of ptopoLastChangeTime changes. Enables a network management
system to trigger physical topology table maintenance polls. (RFC
2622, PTOPO MIB)
- pethPsePortOnOffNotification—Generated
when the power supply status of a PSE port changes. Indicates whether
the PSE port is supplying power to the PD port or not. (RFC 3621Power Ethernet MIB)
- pethMainPowerUsageOnNotification—Generated
when the PSE threshold indicator is on (RFC 3621Power Ethernet
MIB).
- pethMainPowerUsageOffNotification—Generated
when the PSE threshold indicator is off (RFC 3621Power Ethernet
MIB).
