ANTISPAM System Log Messages

This chapter describes messages with the ANTISPAM prefix. They are generated by the antispam process, which decides what action should be performed when the device detects a message that it deems to be spam.

ANTISPAM_SPAM_DETECTED

System Log Message

AntiSpam: SPAM detected: source-name (source-address) action reason: reason

Description

The email is detected as a spam; the IP address of the source and its name will be logged together with the reason for it being categorized as spam

Type

Event: This message reports an event, not an error

Severity

info

Cause

The email is detected as a spam

Action

Verify the spam to make sure it is not a false positive
