Statement introduced in JUNOS Release 9.0. The local-switching, mac-tlv-receive, mac-tlv-send, and peer-as options were added in JUNOS Release 9.3.
Specify the VPLS mesh group. The statement options allow you to specify each PE router that is a member of the mesh group. This statement is also used in the configuration of inter-AS VPLS with MAC operations.
mesh-group-name—Specify the name of the VPLS mesh group.
neighbor address—Specify the address of each PE router which is a member of the mesh group.
vpls-id number—Specify a VPLS identifier for the mesh group.
The other statements are explained separately.
See Configuring Interoperability Between BGP Signaling and LDP Signaling in VPLS and Configuring Inter-AS VPLS with MAC Processing at the ASBR.
