Configuring a Default Route

To configure an IPv4 default route, include the next-hop address and retain statements:




static route default {
next-hop address;

retain;
}

To configure an IPv6 static route, include the next-hop address and retain statements:




rib inet6.0 static (default | route) {
next-hop address;

retain;
}
