Tracing Operations of the pppd Process
To trace the operations of the routing platform’s pppd
process, include the traceoptions statement at the [edit
protocols ppp] hierarchy level:
- [edit protocols ppp]

traceoptions {
- file filename <files number> <match regular-expression> <size size> <world-readable |
no-world-readable>;
- flag flag;
- level severity-level;
- no-remote-trace;
- }
To specify more than one tracing operation, include
multiple flag statements.
You can specify the following flags in the traceoptions statement:
