Statement introduced before JUNOS Release 7.4.

Description

Enable the routing platform to communicate with directly attached ATM switches and routers. The routing platform uses the VC 0.16 to communicate with the ATM switch or router. Once configured, you can display the IP address and port number of an ATM switch or router using the show interfaces interface-name switch-id command.
