Configuring the Provider Tunnel SSM Group Address

To configure the PIM-SSM provider tunnel default MDT group address, include the group-address statement:




group-address address;

You can include this statement at the following hierarchy levels:

[edit routing-instances routing-instance-name provider-tunnel pim-ssm]
[edit logical-systems logical-system-name routing-instances routing-instance-name provider-tunnel pim-ssm]

Note: When you configure the default MDT group address by including the group-address statement, do not specify a default MDT group address by including the vpn-group-address statement.
