Configuring Other PIM Mode-Independent Properties

You can configure the following properties regardless of whether PIM is configured in sparse, dense, or sparse-dense mode:

• Configuring a PIM RPF Routing Table
• Filtering PIM Join Messages
• Multicast Performance and the ping Utility
• Configuring PIM Trace Options
