Statement introduced in JUNOS Release 9.4.
Provide STP loop protection for a given STP family protocol interface.
If the bpdu-timeout-action statement is not configured, an interface that stops receiving BPDUs will transition to the designated port (forwarding) state, creating a potential loop.
block—The interface is blocked if it has not received BPDUs during the timeout interval.
alarm—The interface raises an alarm condition if it has not received BPDUs during the timeout interval.
See Configuring STP Loop Protection.
